The Homeless Families Foundation Among Those Benefiting from Columbus Foundation's "Gifts of Kindness Fund"

The Homeless Families Foundation (HFF) is honored to be among the 18 Columbus-area nonprofits receiving "Gifts of Kindness" grants from The Columbus Foundation.

Established in 2014, Gifts of Kindness grants are made to Columbus area individuals and families to cover expenses incurred during a destabilizing setback.  In response to the acute financial needs of many individuals and families in the Columbus region, however, the fund has pivoted to award large lump sums, ranging from $10,000 - $200,000, to the 18 organizations.

The grant will provide critical financial support as we continue to serve existing needs in homelessness prevention, education enrichment and emergency financial and stability services, as well as new and emerging needs arising from the unique and long-term effects the pandemic will have on the families we serve.
