Columbus Hospitality Management Group Volunteer Day

Recently, over 80 volunteers from the Columbus Hospitality Management Group were at HFF for a volunteer day.  Patty Harklau is the VP of Human Resources.  Once a year the group spends a day working together in the community.  She found HFF through our website.  This group was awesome!  Executive Director Adrienne Corbett spoke to them first thing in the morning at the Crowne Plaza downtown, and was presented with almost $2,000 in gift cards (Kroger’s, Target, Wal-Mart, Giant Eagle) as well as cash.  They had also collected personal care items, sheets, towels, diapers, a variety of baby related items, cleaning products and kitchen supplies. 

While they were at HFF, they painted the porches at Glenwood, mulched and weeded and worked at both playgrounds, completely reorganized the basement, started the rehab of one our of units and cleaned and re-organized the warehouse.  We can’t begin to quantify the dollar value of what this group accomplished for HFF today.  We also made some good friends and supporters.  Hats off to Spence and Ron who organized the day!
