Support Special Events
The Homeless Families Foundation raises awareness of its family shelter services in the community by putting on two Annual Special Events : the Spring Benefit through the New Albany Classic Signature Series and Come Home for the Holidays held at the Brookside Golf and Country Club in Worthington.
Both of these events are :
Coordinated by community volunteers and HFF staff Supported by local corporations Each attended by more than 300 largely different guests Responsible, together, for raising almost 25% of needed income
Attending these Special Events is a fun social way of making a generous personal and financial donation to services needed by families in crisis.
In addition, civic groups, professional associations, churches, and companies also hold their own special charity events on behalf of HFF. This is an important way in which community organizations can support the family shelter programs : through funds raised by various activities organized by the group itself, through time and expertise donated by the group to assist with special HFF projects, and by donation of needed items for apartments and families.
